Cooking Beats: Raíces fires into its 4th instalment with Kilo Bali’s very own Executive Chef Yohans Gozal, drawing from his Indonesian roots to whip up a feast of home comforts.
Born in ’84 in Jakarta, Indonesia, Yohans love for the kitchen brewed during a part-time stint in Brisbane while studying for his degree. Although he’s lived outside of his home country for about 20 years, Yohans heart still lies in his Indonesian roots, and will pay tribute to this with a 7-course menu featuring ingredients commonly used in Indonesian cuisine.
Cooking Beats: Raíces sees guest chefs from a variety of colourful backgrounds helming Kilo Kallang’s kitchen to serve culinary-comforts they grew up on back home, accompanied by a special selection of beats to offer diners a fully immersive glimpse into the chef’s culture.
